More On Whitney Houston’s Death: Prescription Drugs, Found Underwater

More information about Whitney Houston‘s death has surfaced:

The singer was found in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel room with her face underwater, reports TMZ.

We’ve also learned that Houston was taking Xanax and other prescription drugs, found by Beverly Hills police, for anxiety and depression and was drinking a lot lately.  Evidence reveals that the mixing of alcohol with Xanax may have caused Houston to become sedated, falling asleep in her bathtub, leading to her death.

The L.A. County Coroner will perform an autopsy today to determine how Houston died.  Evidence is pointing to a potential drowning or overdose.
