Miss Raven-Symoné is ready to take over Broadway in Sister Act.  Set to replace Patina Miller as Deloris Van Cartier, she begins rehearsals at the end of February.

Whoopi Goldberg, who played Deloris in the Sister Act films, is the producer of the Broadway show.  The production features original music by Alan Menken, also known for composing the music in The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and Enchanted, among many others.

Raven will star in Sister Act at the Broadway Theatre for a minimum of six-months beginning at the end of March, reports Deadline.
