Everyone’s Favorite New Show ‘Queer Eye’ Is Getting A Season 2

Netflix’s Queer Eye is without a doubt everyone’s favorite new show of early 2018. Introducing us to a brand new Fab Five — consisting of Karamo Brown, culture; Tan France, style; Bobby Berk, design; Jonathan Van Ness, grooming; and Antoni Porowski, food — the series brought an incredible amount of heart, acceptance, and happy tears in a time that’s been very difficult for America. A runaway success it’s no surprise Queer Eye is getting a season 2!

Watch my review of Netflix’s Queer Eye season one, below:

Here’s what we can expect in Queer Eye season 2:

1. Season 2 will be eight episodes long.

Just like the first season, season 2 will consist of only eight episodes. Hopefully future seasons will double that!

2. There will be even more diversity in regards to the heroes the Fab Five works with.

Bobby Berk told Variety: “One of the things I’m most excited about for the new season is the continuation of diversity, even more so than the last season. Without giving anything away, with our heroes, you’re going to be seeing a lot more different people than you did the first time. A lot of people have been asking,’Why are you just working with straight guys?’ Or we did have one gay guy. And I’m like, ‘Stay tuned for Season 2. You’ll see a lot more diversity.’”

3. Religion will be a big topic in the upcoming season.

Bobby Berk told Variety: “Moving forward in Season 2, there is an episode that we really go in deep on religion. It’s going to be one that people are going to be very excited to see. Not only does it change a lot of our hearts, but you definitely see the hearts of people we’re working with change and you see the hearts of an entire religious community change.”

4. Season 2 could come sooner than we think!

The cast and crew filmed Queer Eye season 2 right after season 1 so the whole season is shot and ready — now all we need is a premiere date!
