Before The Devil Breaks You by Libba Bray

Set in New York City in the 1920s, Before The Devil Breaks You is the third book in The Diviners series by Libba Bray. I’ve been highly anticipating this read since 2015! The book continues the adventures of our rag tag group with extraordinary powers as the city becomes overrun with ghosts who have a connection to the man in the stovepipe hat, our villain the King of Crows.

The Hanging Girl by Eileen Cook

Skye Thorn goes from giving tarot card readings in the school cafeteria to using her psychic visions to help the police solve a kidnapping mystery. Only thing is — she’s not really psychic. With insider knowledge into the kidnapping, she has an easy way to make money to start a new life. But not everything is as it seems and, when the fake kidnapping victim ends up really dead, a whole new can of worms is opened up.

The Afterlife Of Holly Chase by Cynthia Hand

Seventeen year old Holly Chase has always been selfish and spoiled, so it’s no surprise when she’s chose as the latest Scrooge to reform for the top-secret company Project Scrooge. Their mission? Four friends visit a private island every summer with their families, but secrets, lies, and big mistakes change everything. We Were Liars is a mystery you want to go into not knowing much because it makes the ending that much more surprising.
