Nice Try, Jane Sinner by Lianne Oelke
Release Date: January 9, 2018
After getting expelled from high school, Jane Sinner’s parents push her to attend a high school completion program at the local community college. She agrees, as long as she gets to move out. She signs up to live in House of Orange, a student run reality show reminiscent of Big Brother. The low budget web series garners a cult following, turning it into a local TV series, and upping the stakes dramatically.
The Chalk Man by CJ Tudor
Release Date: January 9, 2018
In 1986, Eddie and his friends’ secret code of drawing chalk men takes a dark turn when one leads them to a dead body. Now in 2016, a package with a chalk man shows up at a grown up Eddie’s door. His friends received the same message and, when one of them ends up dead, he must look into the past to uncover a deeper mystery.
Trials of Apollo: The Burning Maze by Rick Riordan
Release Date: May 1, 2018
The god Apollo has been cast down by Zeus and turned into gawky, mortal teenager Lester Papadopoulos. To regain his former godly glory and place in Mount Olympus, he must restore the five Oracles. In the third book in the Trials of Apollo series, Apollo’s journey continues with the help of his demigod friends. With Rick Riordan at the helm, I anticipate even more laugh out loud mythological adventures on par with his previous series, including Percy Jackson, Heroes of Olympus, and Magnus Chase.

Puddin’ is a companion book to Julie Murphy’s Dumplin’, which followed self-proclaimed fat girl Willowdean Dickson on her quest to infiltrate the Miss Clover City beauty pageant and spread body positivity. In Puddin‘, we follow supporting characters just a few months after the pageant. Millie Michalchuck plans to forgo her annual trip to fat camp to pursue her dreams and hopefully kiss her crush. Circumstances align Millie with popular dance team member Callie Reyes, which may lead to an unlikely ally and friendship.
